Hi everyone.

It's a new year and I want to finally get around to creating a new network of blogs. I figure about 5, to be exact.

I want to avoid using google servers (blogger), databese based blogs (wordpress) and just have my own blogs on my own hosted servers. Using ONLY html if possible, and looking good on smartphone browsers.

I want to be able to use my mac to create the blog posts offline and then be able to upload either from my main computer or the local internet cafe (thumb drive, etc).

Any suggestions on software and platforms?

Cutting out database based blogs really limits your options. Do a search for flat-file blogs or wiki platforms. There are a few.
