Getting book covers for a library database

Is there a paid service?

Hi webmasters, I'm working on this project, everything is fine except that I need the cover of the books for the online database and shopping cart. The codes and ISBNs are not a problem, searching, finding and using the images is not a problem but due to the amount of books it would take a lot of man-hours.

I checked on the isbn database and they offer a free service, account based where you can get the data for any book using title or isbns. I'm already on it, I love it but book images (covers) are not available. You have a 500 searches limit per day and you can buy more.

Found some other projects but too incomplete, very few titles or mostly books in english. I did my homework and found a way to automate getting the images from amazon using the book title. I could write a script to do that but I'm against scrapping, and many images have a seal over "look inside". There are other online stores that my script could search in but I'm not confortable with that.

It is not hard to implement a light box-tent with a webcam connected to the PC and automate the image arquiring process but what really takes time and becomes a problem is naming the images and link them to the database manually.

Any help will be appreciated.

Solved! after some research I found the openlibrary and worldcat, I now have an account and using their service for the book covers, this is what I wanted: no scrapping.
