I have a business directory listing the a specific industry's companies and phone/address details (no website links) and allowing people to write reviews (good and bad).

I have had business owners contact me asking to have their business removed from my sites claiming they did not give permission for me to list their business there.

Do the businesses have any legal rights to make me remove their listing/reviews from my site?

I do have a disclaimer stating that reviews are not verified and that readers should do their own due diligence and contact the companies directly with any concerns.

Their legal rights depend on what country you are in (and in countries with a federal form of government possibly by state/province). For legal advice you need to consult a suitably qualified professional in your own jurisdiction.
