Did the Rapture predictions affect your site traffic?

Forgive me for asking what might seem like an absolutely ridiculous question, but I was hoping to get an idea of what traffic was like for others over the past 3-4 days. I've been seeing topics about May 21st, zombie apocalypse, judgment day, doomsday trending for the past week and it is my understanding that when there is something to take the attention of the user it leaves them less time for what they would 'normally surf to'.

We've seen a slow down in both traffic and sales for the past 4 days and are unsure as to why, it seems as though search, referral and direct all took a decline around the same time.

Anyone else experience anything like this over the past few days?

Weekends tend to be slow for my site though no considerable change in traffic for me either way. Imagine how much better the world would be if people worried more about living than dieing. ;)

A lot of my visitors died on 2/24/2011 and a few more yesterday.
