Has Panda Increased Scrapers?

Their content so thin they need MORE?

One of the side effects of Panda Farm is an increase in content theft... most scraper MFA sites have no staff to create content... they put up the bare amount to get ads served. In recent days since Panda rolled out the number of scape attacks on my sites has increased by 30%... most doomed to fail since I have any number of protections installed at the server level... The side effect is that even though 403s are routinely returned there is a SLIGHT increase in bandwidth use.

Any one seeing similar activity?

This might be good news. Most likely it means you are showing up more prominently in the serps that the scrapers are using. Check your SE referrals. See if any new search terms are showing up with legit visitors. Annoying bots aside, you may discover new terms to promote.

Then again it could be a complete coincidence. Maybe.
