Hi

Is there any app out there that can check through a folder of files and look in the code for resources like images and flash that aren't being used across a site?

I want to erase all images that are no longer used and don't want to spend hours doing what a computer could do in a few seconds.

Xenu's Link Sleuth:
http://home.snafu.de/tilman/xenulink.html [home.snafu.de]

after crawling the site, it has an option to use ftp to look for "remote orphans" in the server directories.

That's looking for broken links I'm trying to find images that aren't actually linked at all across the site.

the feature is not described on the site.

xenu first collects links and references.
then it looks for all files in the document directories.
then it figures out which are the orphans - files in the document directories that are not linked or referred to.
