I used to know it but forgot it.

We used to employ a person on a contract basis to do some of the more complex stuff on our network. He was excellent, I miss him on days like today.

So one day he showed me a DOS command that displayed a list of all the machines on the local network, with the name of the computer and the IP addresses of all the computers on the network.

I cannot remember what it was. Its not NET VIEW, IPCONFIG, which is all I can find by searching Google. I can find other people asking the same question but none of the answers is correct.

Can anybody show off their ancient DOS skills and provide me with the command?

Very close, that command does not show all the computers just the ones I am connected to.

But it does look like the layout of information like I remember.
