Question about signature and SEO Value?

Hi, I'm new here.
I was wondering if any one could tell me when do signatures in forum posts have SEO value, or do they ever? If we search the source of a forum page for “no follow” and no follow doesn’t come up on the page does that mean we get link juice?
I would be much obliged for any input I can get.
Thank you! Melody ^_^

Some forums are more lax than others with this. Some of them use it as an incentive and it can help. I use one business forum in the UK where signatures like the following are quite common. ;)

Ratcatchers Solihull | Escort Girls Glasgow | Happy Toes Chiropody Clinic | Beatles Ringtones | Buy Inflatable Girlfriends Online | Cheapest Car Insurance

If you are only interested in the acquisition of numerical page rank then don't waste your time with forums.

If you actually want visitors then a signature on RELEVANT posts in RELEVANT forums may bring some real customers and also visits from other webmasters who may decide that your site is worth linking to.
