Starting an Audio Share Website

Hello all,

I was planning to install an audio share script on one of my new domains.

The script I found seems good and professional.

1. Do you think users will share and upload audio files?
2. Will wanna-be-singers who dont necessarily want to create a MusicVideo share their recordings through audio files or would they prefer to put a simple background image and record and upload on youtube?
3. If the site becomes popular will monetizing it be difficult considering the size and bandwidth consumption of such a site?
4. Any helpful suggestions or feedback is appreciated..as always.

Such a website does not currently exist for my community/country so I thought I would give it a shot and be the first one to try it out...

1. Mostly illegal ones. I guess you could always claim ignorance like YouTube does.
2. The list of people who want to share songs without reaching a ton of people are likely few. Most will go to YouTube.
3. Depends on how much music ads are worth. I would imagine you could turn a profit assuming you have a timed delay for downloading files.
