I've been using Grindstone to track hours for clients and it's as brutally anti-intuitive as possible; keeps doing things I don't want it to do, adds tasks I did not tell it, removes actual tasks at the top when removing them from the selection...it's
really the worst software I've ever used. *edit* No - Vista and 7 are, but this comes in as an easy third place.
ALL I want to do is enter in starting date/time, ending date/time, and then add the selected date/time sets for the week to determine the total number of hours.
So in example here is what the time table may look like...
01-01-10: 11:00:00 - 19:00:00
---
START SELECTED TASKS ---
2010-01-04 11:00:00 - 19:01:01
2010-01-05 11:00:00 - 19:01:01
2010-01-06 11:00:00 - 19:01:01
2010-01-07 11:00:00 - 19:01:01
2010-01-08 11:00:00 - 19:01:01 ---
END SELECTED TASKS ---
2010-01-11 11:00:00 - 19:00:00
Total hours: 40:05:05
I don't want software that automates anything else in any conceivable way unless I actually tell it to.
Suggestions please?
