Most Secure Permission Settings For Public HTML

Hi

Is there any ideal permission setting that I should set for my public_html folder on my cpanel? I think it is set to 750 by default. But I was wondering if 644 or any other setting would be more ideal. Most of my websites are Wordpress blogs and so there is not too much of interaction from "Group" and "Others"

it depends on which user is running the server process, which group(s) to which that user is assigned and who the owner/group of the directory is.
in addition, a directory needs the "execute bit" set, so it needs to be a 755 or 750.
