hi

Need a terms & conditions spiel for a new community site with user submitted content including forums. Rather than starting from scratch and reinventing the wheel please are there any generic T&C texts which we could use or adapt?

Thank you

Sorry, to clarify this is for a T&C which public have to agree to as part of Signup process to be a member.

I would suggest a search on google or bing for that subject. We aren't lawyers here and can't give advice, though we do make comments and opinions!

Seriously, you should find several boilerplate TOS or T&C on the web that will give you a starting point.

edit... actually, some of us are lawyers as well as webmasters, but the above still holds true...

If looking for boilplate T&Cs make sure that you look for ones appropriate to the jurisdiction where you live.
