website loading very slowly

i have a wordpress-based webcomic site. i did a test to see the loading time using pingdom, and it turns out the loading time is extremely slow.
here are the pingdom reuslts:

as you can see, for some reason some objects load within about 3-4 seconds, whereas some take about 12seconds (and nothing in between). i really can't figure out what i'm missing here. does anyone have any idea why certain objects take so long to load? what can i do about this?

First I suggest you to contact your host provider, and ask them.

you can use extra files of css and java script file which helps you to load faster than before. after doing so, again open slowly then your server is too slow

rajendradhakal, are you suggesting to modularize css and javascript files to minimize page loading time?

you need to balance the size of the files with the number of HTTP requests and the practical effects of cacheing for the typical visitor.
