Adobe has announced the launch of Creative Suite 5, which includes new versions of professional software such as Photoshop, InDesign and Dreamweaver.
The complete package, called the Master Collection, will cost up to £2,303, and features a series of improved tools. Photoshop’s new “content-aware fill” tool allows users to delete areas of photographs and automatically redraws the background to make it appear that they were never there in the first place. Among 250 other new features, there is also improved recognition of an image’s edges.

I have to say I am quite excited about the new content aware stuff. I saw some great demos of it and it is going to save me days of work when I do design stuff.
The price tag is quite scary though. I know that it has the potential to really increase productivity for design shops so it should be worth the cost. I have literally spent days doing what I have seen content aware tool do in seconds.
I still feel for some shops that have 10 or more designers and they want to license a copy for each. It can get expensive.
