html tags inside anchor tag

Hello, i was wondering if having a <br/> tag inside an <a> tag can have any side effects with seo.

for examle:
will <a href="#" title="Hello World">Hello World</a> act the same as <a href="#" title="Hello World">Hello<br/>World</a> ?

No. But more importantly, why would it? Search engines aren't stupid.
