Has anyone heard of a website being condemned (confiscated by government) via the eminent domain process?

Never heard of that. I always thought only physical property (i.e. real estate) was subject to eminent domain, but I'm not sure.

After doing some research I've found that a website can indeed be condemned via eminent domain. Almost anything can, including patents, trade secrets and copyrights.

No, I haven't heard of it happening anywhere, the subject came up during a discussion about net security and nobody seemed to know for sure.
