my computer has started crashing more frequenty than i would like!

i think it could be something to do with downloading/uploading, maybe a dodgy network card.

anyway, is there a log file (windows xp) which i can look at to try and work out what is causing the crashes? if so where is it?

thanks!

Right click "My Computer" -> "Manage" -> "Event Viewer"

The "System" log will probably be the one with potentially useful info. HTH.

Also check the system failure settings:

Right click "My Computer" -> "Properties" -> "Advanced" -> Startup and Recovery "Settings"
