Looking for simple to use but quality output photo gallery software for professional photographer's website.
Must be good quality output, option for password protected pages for customers but simple for non-web savvy photgrapher to upload his images. Also needs to be ad free.
There's so much stuff out there I thought I'd ask for some hints here rather than trawl through everything!

I wouldn't mind knowing one myself, because I went through installing and uninstalling numerous ones for days on one site, and found most of them were totally buggy, over designed, or just plain bad. I ended up going with the lessor of the worst, but it still has huge issues. Just goes to show, there's always room for one more developer that actually provides something good.

Not sure if this will do ~everything~ you're looking for, but you might want to check out Flogr - [code.google.com...]
It pulls photos directly from flickr and comes w/ a CSS file that you can customize to suit the site layout.

Take a look at zenphoto.org for simple and intuitive. Once it's setup you can just drop new photos into a folder via FTP and it automatically thumbnails them, etc. Support community is active so when you need to customize it you're not alone.
