How valid are forums where are posts paid?

I have seen some websites and its forum that depends on my posts' interest they will pay you from 5 to 20 cents per each members post.

Why they do this as I have not seen this way till now.

I completely agree, and this is something that also affects reviews as well. It's not illegal - YET - but puts further tarnish on an already untrusted element, the testimonial or review.

If an idea builds it's own momentum, great. If you have to pay to get momentum, well, the old saying is "you can polish a t***, but it's still a t***."

that would be t*u*r*d and it's a somewhat common quote in the states.
