Fake/temporary email services detection

Hi, I've noticed that ocasionally some users on my site are registering using those fake Email services that provide an account that only lasts for 10 minutes or so. I've got a list of email domains that provide this fake mail service so I check if the user tries to register using one of them before proceeding. I've got half a dozen of domains blocked, but I wonder if someone has or mantains an updated list with these domains.

If not, it wouldn't be a bad idea to create a small service that provides this list via RSS in an updated fashion. This would allow everyone to benefit from it and prevent users from using these fake emails (frequently, malicious users tend to register with such emails) to register on our sites.

I'm not posting the list of the domains I've blocked so far because probably the forum staff will erase it due to the forum rules.

Perhaps you should ask yourself why so many users think you are a potential spammer.

I think he's more concerned about fraudulent sign-ups. These aren't legitimate users.

I do the same blocking for sign-ups for some of my sites, but I've just used a list of domains that I've built up the same way.

Thanks for the reply, indeed I'm worried about fraudulent sign-ups. And for the record, I've never sent newsletters, updates nor any other kind of unsolicited mails to any of my users. ;)
