Every other day I'm getting an email that is meant for somebody on a different domain than mine (somebody@exammple.com)
For the past few months since I owned my domain, I've just been replying to these mistaken senders to let them know they likely want the other domain.
The emails are mostly relating to purchase orders to the small (brick and mortar) business that owns the other domain.
I haven't informed the other domain owner about what is happening. It's very unlikely that this would be happening the other way around (people sending emails to the other domain but intended for me).
This is getting a bit tiresome. What would you do in this situation?
If you are feeling especially kind you can set up a forwarder for specific addresses that sends the messages transparently to the other domain.
