Just wondering if anyone else is seeing a relatively significant increase in spam over the last few weeks. Primarily related to the usual body parts/watches/rx topics, although noticing a huge amount of Facebook related stuff as well. Seems like things quieted down for a few months, but now they're on an upswing.... holiday rush?

I've seen an increase in two types of spam that took a while to get filtered properly, and both are relatively "advanced" phishing - one about email accounts, and the other about Facebook. They did OK one the grammar front and shared some similarities. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a link between the two or a single entity responsible.

I haven't been tracking spam in detail but a handful of messages have got through our firewall recently which is most unusual and my daily quarentine message is getting a lot longer.
