I am trying to find a service to send bulk sms from my website to mobile phones. I have a coupon website and I am trying to send out text message coupons to consumers. I am not charging for this service from my website, but it seems like everywhere have looked for a service provider for bulk SMS, they charge a price per sms sent. I am looking for a service that charges a flat rate per month. It would seem like this is possible, my cell phone sends unlimited text per month for a flat rate. Thanks for any input and I apologize if this question is in the wrong area, I did not see a topic to post it under.

i don't know about a specific flat rate service, but have you looked for information about "SMS Gateways [webmasterworld.com]".

Thanks phranque. It looks like I need SMS gateway software combined with a multiple gsm modem attached to a pc. I wonder if I get those things, can I send out text messages from my website for a flate rate per month?

I have been using Clickatel for more than 6 years - but I guess there are others out there.

The first price range is about USD 0.04 per sms
One purchases block of sms ahead of time.
Clickatel site offers scripts to insert in your application,
for example the php one is quite simple to use.
