I want something that sits on my own server and uses my own mail server to send mail.

I've already been down the road with these hosted solutions telling me my DOUBLE opt-ins are reporting me as spam and if I don't stop they are cutting me off. OK you KNOW they are double opt-in you know its 100% legit yet you still say im doing something wrong?

time to take my business out of the hands of someone else. But it seems everyone is moving to the hosted pay per month SaaS platform *arg*

most important thing is it needs to be able to send e-mails out based on many different ways not just X days from entry to campaign. In some cases i need to hard code DATES into it where MONDAY is for MONDAY if you opt-in on tuesday i don't want you getting the e-amil for monday.

my volume is about 1000 per day.

You really need to know what you're doing and keep on top of things if you're sending e-mail from your own domain. That's why a lot of people will consider something like an Email Optimization Consultant [webmasterworld.com] to handle this for them.

i could get returnpath monitoring to make that part easier.
