Or a website..

I am working on building a database driven-user driven website that I have more than high hopes for but am having a hard time with the project management end of it.

Not really looking for anything that has to do too much with the code of it (though the article(s) could go there) I pretty much have that handled. More so I am looking for good articles about the process from idea inspiration / business plan / prethinking how the site should grow / how to stop drowning your self with "wouldn't it be cools?" so much that you build the site up so much in your head that you are overwhelmed at the thought of coding it before you even start.

while heeding the guidelines for "Posting URLs [webmasterworld.com]" in the Webmaster General forum Charter as well as the terms of service [webmasterworld.com] relevant to posting urls to personal, promotional or commercial sites, i would suggest looking for some of the good threads on this subject area in the Professional Webmaster Business Issues [webmasterworld.com] forum and Library [webmasterworld.com].
for example this "Vast Ideas [webmasterworld.com]" post by one of our moderators reminds me of your situation.
there are also many threads on such subjects in the WebmasterWorld subscribers [webmasterworld.com] forums that may make it worth it for you to consider.

You should have a look at some of the following books

1) Communicating Design: Developing Web Site Documentation for Design and Planning

2) Designing Interfaces

3) Web Engineering : The Discipline of Systematic Development of Web Applications

I have some more in mind ,let me know if you need some more name.
