Hi All,

Have a client that needs to be able to add and update small sections of their website.

They MUST be able to host it on either thier own server, or choose any they want and not be tied into hosting it on the CMS's server.

I personally am not that use to CMS systems, usually hand code either in wordpad or Dreamweaver.

Any suggestions please.

Cheers
Geoffb

We use Joomla, Drupal or Wordpress on a lot of sites. I've also used Typo3 and others. . .most have their pros and cons, and all the ones I mentioned are good at what they do. We tend to use Joomla a lot since it's easy for non-techies to admin.

If you visit the opensourcsCMS site they have many of these CMS packages installed and you can try them out for yourself. Spend some time and play around with these packages.
