Parking a domain on external server to my own domain?

CNAME etc required or just an A entry in their DNS?

Hi. We use WHM and Cpanel. We're quite familiar with "parking a domain" on top of another. So if I have a MAIN.com domain, we can park an ABC.com on it, so they basically function as the same.

This creates a named file and includes ABC.com as a ServerAlias in our VirtualHost directive for the MAIN.COM in our httpd.conf.

But now we'd like to allow someone else to park their ELSE.com domain to our MAIN.com domain. How can I let them do this? I do not have access to the DNS servers etc, so how should I do it?

Thanks!

The new domain would have to be pointed at your host's name servers. However, the back end administration can differ from host to host.

Thanks Bill. You pointer with my host name servers through an "A" record or "CNAME"?

Backend can come later, from my side you mean, right.

You said you don't have DNS access. If that's the case then at the registrar level point the name servers to the new host and manage everything from the host's back end.
