Do you think that people are just lazy enough that they won't submit a page/bookmark a page unless there is a widget there to do so? How much do you think this increases their chance of bookmarking a page?

Thanks.

I have never observed the behaviour of non techies in this but I know that I would always use the browser's own bookmarking rather than trust somebody elses widget.

well, what I mean is social bookmarking (not browser bookmarking). I know there are some browser tools that can be installed for social bookmarking, but I figure that most people may not have these installed for easy access to sharing a site. What do you think? Any studies done?

Cheers,
