Privacy policy on homepage or sitewide?

I use third party advertising on my site and all of them ask me to put a privacy policy. I do have privacy policy on my site but it's only on the homepage. The site is quite big and it is hard for me to run it sitewide without manually putting the code on each and every page.

My question is, is it important to run the privacy policy sitewide or is it okay to keep it on the homepage alone?

I would have a separate page for the privacy policy, and a link to that in the footer of every page. That way, it doesn't matter what page your audience enters from, the pp will still be available to them. Keep in mind that search engine referrals aren't always going to send people directly to your homepage. IMHO, you must make the policy available on all pages in order to protect yourself, and to make your viewers feel more secure about the site.

For example, the way that this site displays a link to the privacy policy on each page is top-notch. Most sites I frequent do the same.
