Title tag, more than one keyword phrase?

Ok, I haven't really seen this answered and I've been looking for an answer for this recently. Ok, for a title tag, would you say that it is best to have just one keyword phrase and maybe a company name, or two or more keyword phrases. Some people talk about keyword weight/density, so I don't want to "weigh" it down, but if it is better to have more than one keyword phrase, I don't want to waste that either! Are there any studies that have been done?

Thanks.

No studies to reference, but I often use the likes of "Acme widgets, Acme XYZ gadgets," and rank well for both terms. Usually the first phrase is the best ranking. When phrases in the title become significantly different, one may rank well but the other only ranks well for less popular search phrases.

Only question is, will this hurt the ranking of the first phrase?

Thanks.

Not that I've noticed.

ok, cool, cause a lot of time they talk about keyword "density" in the title tag, but I guess if it's in the front it really doesn't matter.

Thanks a bunch db.
