you dont have to have your web server "flash enabled" or anything like that do you?

flash is all rendered by the browser right?

im having an issue displaying a flash video, and i know the file is on the remote server, but just wondered if for some reason the server had to have flash installed on it....or something weird like that...

Is it an flv file? I know I had to add the appropriate mime type to allow flvs on my site.

yes... that would be it.

i guess by default on IIS6, .FLV is not an extension enabled in MIME types.
