Does google ever fix the website listings?

I hosted my website in Canada and soon realized that it was not showing on Google.com only on Google.ca, After the fact I changed the hosting location to a US location and yet nothing has changed and it has been close to a year.My website still does not show on Google.com will that ever change over time?

Have you checked your Google webmaster section to make sure you have the US selected?

I am hosted in canada and never had an issue with showing up in both countries been there 7 years now.
