We use Thawte as an SSL provider for one of our sites and noticed that our checkout system was hanging horribly. We called Thawte and found that their site seal generator was not working and that this was a global issue. They had no ETA of a fix.
We temporarily commented their code off our pages and now everything works fine.
Just thought i'd give everyone the heads up if they are using them.
