what are "pages about this site"?
do you mean documents, source and media files (html, css, pdf, images, etc)?

what do you mean "lost"?
you deleted files from the server?
and you deleted files from your computer?

If you have been using an on-line editor provided by your web host then you are in difficulty. Some will have special considerations and generalist advice may be misleading. You would be advised to see if there is a specialist forum for your hosting service or try raising a support ticket.

If you have been using a PC based editor and have had a disc crash or otherwise lost the files off your hard disc then FTP works both ways and you can use your FTP software to create a backup of what is currently on-line.

someone told me when i ask him about this problem
he said i can return those pages by this :

try to find the deleted pages using the cache: operator in Google, they may still be there as copies in Google's cache and you could copy them from there:

cache:yoursite.tld/page-in-question.html

and other said:
If you are out of luck there and the pages have been around for a while, you could try the web archive [archive.org...]

is this true...because ..i actualy not me who have this problem about this issue and actually i don't have site ^^'

I don't know more about sites or what should i do about this problem like this....so i hope to help me with simple way possible..so what i should told him to do to make him remove something from his site while he said he don't have those pages anymore

You're saying that your friend can no longer edit his site? If I understand you correctly he is saying that he can no longer remove content from his site, but he can add it? That's odd.

What is he using to run his site?

do the pages still exist on the web? can you still visit them on his website?
if you can't, then there is no problem.

but if you can, then all you've got to do is visit the page and 'view source' in your browser, and it will give you all the code.

Again, if I'm understanding you correctly, you are saying that this is an issue with his content management interface, or actual pages of content that were put onto the website? Which is it?

If it his his CMS (content management system) then it is doubtful that those pages will be cached anywhere. If it is web pages from the actual site then the Google cache or archive.org, as you already mentioned, would be the best place to start looking.
