improving alexa rank

i have not worked much on alexa part. since 2 week we were about to do some alexa improvement for the sites. we linked the alexa url from thesite which is a good pr site and also aprox 50 to 100 submissions for the 3 sites. i saw alexa figure has been increased a lot it was 1,81,763, and now it is around 2,11,274.. i had read all over the net and did the same what has been recommanded by expert (assuming).. is anybody can help improving alexa..

Don't lose any sleep over Alexa. It is not really an accurate measure of a site's popularity. They can be somewhat accurate once they get into the top 1000 or so, but beyond that it is quite easily manipulated.

right, we dont do much on alexa part bcoz it is nothing which is gonna help a lot, i suggest my client the same thing long time ago but he is willing to improve the alexa as well and now he is really upset with the increased figure.. will try to make him understood. thanks a lot
