To be honest its been over a month since cuil launch and with great fanfare they messed the images up .

But they are still wrong and by being wrong they are ruining their credibility .

Although i see they have streamlined their images down ....i would ask the question how much programming knowledge do they have .....

to be honest it cant be more than a database with

Image name ¦ URL ¦ Alt ¦ ULR Description ¦ size ¦

and then you can add some others if you want .

To be honest they most probably are working with a limited budget and limited staff so all due respect (and i would love to be in their shoes) but is the images issue a priority for them ?

To be honest it looks like it's working to me but...
To be honest I don't care.

I guess it has really fallen off the map as regards traffic. It was so bad that it is now a textbook example of launching a product that is not even ready. The Alexa stats show that its traffic has fallen off dramatically since its launch.

[alexa.com...]

It had a huge spike initially due to all the publicity and then lost it all when the results were not up to expectations and the image problem got them a lot of very bad publicity.

Banned here. Was as aggressive as Slurp (also banned) and NOT ONE REFERRAL. Don't need this kind of traffic.

I went back and tried a couple of searches. A higher proportion of images are now ones that have been shown on the pages in question although some are actually affiliate ads.

Actually if you want an international search from the UK the results are better than Google which appears to geo-target regardless of which option you select on the search.
