unknown cookie: s_pers

anyone know what this cookie is all about?

name: s_pers

which has a value of: %20s_favsn_paypalglobal + [a long string of characters]

i found it in a site i'm looking at, and nowhere are they/we setting that cookie

it isn't some kind of weird cross domain/hack is it?

I guess you could delete the cookie and set your browser's cookie management to notify you of new cookies and surf the sites again. Maybe you could see where it's coming from that way.

It might be a 3rd party cookie. I have my browsers set to deny those by default.

i deleted it and it hasn't returned so who knows what it was!
