Hi,
Me my friends are planning to start a website for Java tutorial and another website for tips and trick for Java Coding. Now we are confused, whether to go for Blog or website for these kinds of content (tutorials, tips and tricks). Please help me to get an idea. Thanks in advance.

a blog will usually constrain your posts in reverse chronological order.
perhaps you should consider a wiki or a more generic content management system.

A lot of people will say blogs are over-rated and/or pointless but I've found they're great for SEO and come with other benefits, such as generally good search functions, the fact that people can subscribe with RSS / via email, etc. For an informational site like you're describing it might be a great way to go. If you don't like the standard chronological format you can modify it with modules or just by creating category pages, etc. Also, Wordpress, for example, is so slick and easy to use.
A CMS, such as Drupal, or a wiki is definitely another option but you should evaluate if you need the extra features or not.

Wordpress lends itself well to be turned into a content management system. You can reverse the order of posts easily as well plus there is a HUGE community of people available to help you with changes.
