Should my main website keyword be in all title tags of the deep pages?

I'm currently re-optimizing one of my main websites. The keyword which I am targeting is highly competitive so I need to consider every SEO factor.

The website will have hundreds of HTML pages. Should all the deeper pages also include the main keyword in the title tag, content, metas...

For Example

HomePage Keyword: APPLES

HomePage Title: Apples are a great addition to your daily food intake.

SubPage Keyword: ORANGES

HomePage Title: Oranges provide a great source of Vitamin C - Apples dont.

If I had 100s of subpages, with my main keyword, would this boost my homepages ranking? Is it a substantial factor?

Only as far as 'natural usage' applies.

SEs look at pages, not sites, and it's much better to have focussed pages than pages that all say (much) te same thing.

Less boring for readers, too - as your example beautifully illustrates ;)

Plus going overboard for one term - especially a highly competitive one - is unlikely to be wise. Spread you net more widely.
