It just seems counterintuitive to me to use offline media to read about a pure online action... Then again, I just did a search for "SEM magazine" and actually got some hits. Ya learn something new every day...
if i scatter some magazines around, flag them with stickies, highlight a few page.... tear out a page and pin it up....

I think you just found a gold mine. playboy should do a story on seo/sem and related topics. a one article per issue-story. that way, you probably could deduct it as work related. or, we could all just start a simple adult site so the whole issue is work related. sounds easier. still, seo in whatever you read might be a good idea. hey, about all those print-on-demand-services -- how much would it cost, if playboy just had like 4 pages blank and, if you're a subscriber, you can choose from 10 different industries to make it "work related" and they're printed in your issue ... wouldn't that be the killer application the paper magazine industry is looking for?
