site stats suddenly down

stats much lower in one day

We have a site with an active message board community. Starting yesterday, the bounce rate jumped 50 percent (from below 20% to almost 30%) and the number of pages view was cut in half. The number of unique visitors was also down by about 600.

The site seems to be working fine on our end. No load issues and we have not made any major changes in the last few days. We have gotten our server host to check it out, and they see no problem. Also,we have gotten someone in another state to check it out, and they are able to view the site fine.

Most of our traffic is repeat and we don't get the majority from search engines.

Any idea what could be causing this or what we should investigate?

Looks like it was a google analytics error. Hopefully it wont be a real problem.
