we have a customer with legal restrictions on their website (which we don't do). however we did do a small program for them that resides on our server. so we created a subdomain in their domain to point to our server.

their legal restrictions say something to the effect of... all online content by them must reside within their website.com domain.

technically isn't the way we set things up mean it part of their domain even if its not on the same server?
