Two columns or three columns blog? Which one is easier to make money?

I have put all product reviews, affiliate linksin the content, and also some banners under sidebar, do I need to add one column for banner ads?

Has anyone studied such usability factors in that amount of detail?

Heck, 1 column blogs can make money so could a 4 column blog, it's not the issue.

The issue is the quality of the content and the relevance of the ads in relationship to that content that makes money, not the number of columns.

Also, if your content doesn't address topics that tend to attract people that are in a buying mood then don't expect to make a lot of money no matter how many columns you have.

Does blog really can make money by the content? I buy some wp themes from blogs, but I always buy info products from newsletter or product presell articles.

What exactly those blog owners make money? Are most of the income from contextual and banner ads?

A blog can be product presell, a blog is just a type of website, nothing different.

Forget it's a blog, you can do anything with it.

It's what you do with it that makes or breaks the website and determines if it sells or not.
