Barcodes on the fly

for windows server 2000

we are needing to create barcodes on our inventory pick sheets as well as creating shipping labels for ups and ups mail innovations. Is there some sofware (preferrably free) that will run in windows asp environments?

For the barcode applications I have written all I ever needed was a free barcode font. Most often, that is 3 of 9 (aka code 39). You can find quite a few options with a quick search.
