Automated Newsletter Services

I've been interested in creating a double opt in daily newsletter for my website, and looked around the forum to find the best way of sending the newsletter out without it ending up in spam folders.

I'm willing to pay for such a service.

Many of the comments online were in support of Constant Contact, so I looked at their service. It was a very strong package that I was interested in.

However, my problem was that my newsletter will be automatically generated by my website every morning. I was looking for a service where my site could send out one email to and then be disseminated to all my subscribers.

When I talked with Constant Contact they said they require the user log in to the account and fill out a form by hand for every newsletter they send out.

This just won't work for my automatically generated newsletter. I don't want to have to wake up early as soon as the email is generated so I can copy and paste into a form and press submit.

Are there similar sites that would allow me to do this?

One thing Constant Contact did that I appreciated was to allow me to create forms on my site to allow people to sign up for the list, as well as create links in the newsletters letting people automatically unsubscribe. I’d like these features if possible.

Thanks

Use Feedburner. They allow you to enable email subscriptions. Then you basically set your newsletter to be an RSS feed. Feedburner will then send out daily emails each time a newsletter is added to the feed.

Plus they send it from their servers, so they manage and worry about delivery issues.

I've been using them for about a year now. Very reliable. Only drawback is you can't collect personal info from your subscribers like names, etc. But it is free. ;-)

Check the Blog Broadcaster function of AWeber - this might be just what you want

Thank you, both excellent ideas.

That feedburner service is great, I think it’s even better than what I was originally looking at.

Thanks.
