Simple, Cheap Archiving+Search solutions

I have a large archive of documents that grows by about 1000 per day. after a given point the documents rarely need to be viewed (And we expire them in G and Y).

Can anyone recommend a hosted solution to store the documents that include basic search functionality. Solution should be a stable service for long term archiving.

I've looked at Amazon's Cloud, but that storage only, and Internet Archives service.
