I have been asked to translate a website into various different languages and sort out hosting for them.
I have already suggested having the main site with language options but they want distinctly seperate sites for each country.
Now, my question is this:
If for example I take the spanish translation of the site and buy a .es domain, do I need to find a spanish host to get a better local search through the search engines, or will hosting on a UK or US server be equally as good?
It helps the ranking greatly to have an IP in the country you're targeting.
