Just had my business email address used as the return address for spam emails. Now i am getting 1000's of bounce messages. Wondered what experience people have of this. Should i just sit it out? Change my email address? Any other actions i should take or be aware of?
Thanks.

Are they faking real addresses or just dummy names at your domain?

If you are using an external service provider for your emails then disabling any catch-all mailbox facility may filter most of the dross.

no its a real email address, one if a real mail box. Site has its own mail server.

Look into adding an SPF record [google.com] and/or DomainKeys [google.com] to your site.
