help me with my problem, please

Hello,

I have problem with craigslist.

I posted my ads, but I can't find them.They are "active", I can access them, but they don't appear in craigslist listing(I mean when I go to the right location, and select right category, I can't see them).
I've tried many times.

I haven't traffic at all, what can be the reason for that?

If someone can help me I'll be very thankful.

I would suggest contacting craigslist about your problem. They are more likely to know why you are having problems.

This is called "ghosting" - It looks like everything is fine after you click "publish", but the ads are not there. They do this with if they think you are running too many ads.

CL is an ongoing thing, much like Google with a sort of algo they they update almost daily it seems to combat spam...the thing is many good and respectful marketers who use it take the hit because of black hat spam idiots who ruin a good thing.. The good white hat marketer is the one who suffers...

anyway...the trick to CL is to stay in the rules...only post about 20 a day spread out

and always use different titles EVERTIME you post....

I have found that most "Ghosting" occurs because of to much of the same ads being posted and if you do it to much even with being ghosted then they will penalize you with no ads showing up at all....this will last three days if you are smart....

By smart I mean do not post any ads for three days and come back with completly different style of ads (new titles and text)

CL HATES any live links and HATES similar ads posted all the time and HATES spam...and really HATES all HTML flashy posts in general...

and of course you do not only have to fight the CL algo type thing ghosting and blocking your posts, but you have to go against a sort of neo liberal computer savy group of patrons who despice greed, spam and internet marketing in general, and they get their so with a good ole flag vote.... and trust me if you do any of the above they will have you off the secong your ad goes live if it avoids all the CL filters!

CL is tough and will only get more so to get money from...this is a place where a solid niche that makes money and does not bother anyone is tough to pull off..

they will block your IP also and then it gets even more tough to get around....

I would not contact CL becuase they probably do not care because you probably have been spamming the site and them and the patrons probably know who you are :)

P.S. you can do a view script in IE or other browers that support it after you post and see if you are "ghosted" as the ghosting script will be in the HTML for the post...so you can post and check the script without waiting and looking for the post...

the post will always show that it is "live" in your account...
