Using Proxies to get visits

Is there a way to get like 1,000 visits really quick?

Hi, I'm not doing this for any bad purposes, but I'm trying to design an analytics program, and I want to see a lot of visits to test out some features.

Is there a way I can go to one site quick and type in a website and it'll go to it with a bunch of different proxies?

You could use something like the proxy switcher add-on for Firefox and then manually switch between proxies of your choosing.

Hey, thanks.. I downloaded that, but is there a way to load a bunch of proxies into that? I'm trying to make this as not-complicated as possible (as it's not really a permanent thing I just need it to test out my analytics thing).

you could write a script to use a command line tool such as lwp-request:
lwp-request -p <proxy-url> <url>
